Ways to Participate

It takes many kinds of people to create a successful project. We're working to more clearly define the various paths of participation for developers, power users and even non-technical users.

These are the quickest ways to get involved in the community or a specific project:

Groups

Groups are people-focused. Discover or create groups based on your interests. Find a mentor to help develop your skills. Contribute your knowledge and experience.

Projects

Projects are work-focused. Discover or create projects to work on open source development, including programming, testing and project management.

Support

Participate in forums and answer questions to provide support for users of SourceTree Commons or other projects within the community.

Documentation

Help to write, edit and expand documentation on SourceTree Commons or other projects within the community.

Stay up-to-date

Join our News mailing list and recieve updates about the progress made in the development of the platform and community of SourceTree Commons. You can also find these updates on the News portion of this site.

The SourceTree blog is an informal way to hear news from several of our Stewards.
